The LSF Titanium 17mm 12-point socket is made from certified GR5=Ti 6ai-4v titanium with a 1/2″ drive. This socket is precision manufactured, heat treated for strength and hand polished socket. The finished product weighs only 1.4oz / 39g and is tested to over 200 ft-lbs / 271Nm. Texture from the laser etched socket size and branding aids in socket control by adding some grip when handling. When performance matters, why do you want to carry around a chunky, overweight socket?!

A 12-point socket on a 12-point fastener has more engagement points, giving the socket more places to grip, which can reduce the chance of slipping or rounding under high torque. Most sockets are 6-point, and therefore incompatible with the 12-point lug nuts, bolts, or nuts. This 12-point socket works on both 12-point and 6-point fasteners.

Unlike chrome-plated steel, our pure titanium socket will not peel, flake or allow rust underneath.

Because titanium is extremely resistant to rust and corrosion, this tool is ideal if the socket will be exposed to water, salt, chemicals, or stored for long periods.

Non-sparking and non-magnetic (MRI safe).

Overall length is 2.00″ (50.8mm) with an OD of .94″ (23.9mm).

As with most sockets, do not use with an impact gun.
